Organic Olive Grove Cortijo los Almendros
At Cortijo los Almendros, caring for the environment is a matter and “life project”, to obtain healthier organic extra virgin olive oils and give added value to the mountain olive grove.
Our ecological olive grove is characterized by the non-use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides.
This is reflected not only in respect for the environment, but also in the absence of these substances in the fruit, the only ingredient in our extra virgin olive oil. It is the result and tireless care of Antonio Lopez-Barajas and his entire team.
By taking advantage of natural resources, such as the quality of the land, rain, plant covers, some insects or domestic animals, the organic olive grove achieves similar yields to the conventional one, but with a notably higher quality.
Our extra virgin olive oils are a natural coupage of the Picual, Hojiblanca, Negrillo from Iznalloz, Lucio, Loaime and Lechín varieties from Granada; with unique nuances and aromas, which offer very unique EVOOs from the entire province of Granada.
