At Los Almendros Estate we have cataloged more than 1,400 centenary olive trees among the native varieties of picual, negrete de Iznalloz, hojiblanca, lechín from Granada, lucio and loaime.

We concentrate the largest number of ancient olive trees in the province of Granada. These extraordinary trees, besides attracting for their beauty, produce an oil that has become a treasure among gourmet palates.

Olive oil has been present in our lives for millennia. It is one of the key elements of the Mediterranean diet, a product of high culinary value that has gone beyond its mere existence as food to become something cultural, a lifestyle. Our centenary olive trees, due to their age, are less productive and are more valued, but in return, gourmet organic extra virgin olive oil is extracted from them, highly appreciated among demanding palates.
